Outsource my life?!

Yes, you read that right. I have been reading The Guinea Pig Diaries by AJ Jacobs, and it is A.M.A.Z.I.N.G! I read an excerpt from my all time favoriteist magazine subscription in the world – Real Simple (their website is equally amazing you should check it out, no really, check it out). It was the September issue for this year – in case you were interested.

Back to the subject at hand – while reading the article I laughed so hard I cried! I found it so funny that I then read it out loud to Cinderella, and then that night again to myself – needless to say I couldn’t wait for the full edition to be released to stores! Well on the 28th of September it came to Borders my bookstore of choice,

(unless they keep doing this, then there might be a change)

and I was there with cash debit card in hand ready to purchase.

(I did not also purchase 3 other books that I couldn’t wait to have didn’t need at all except to add to my ever growing collection)

So for the past week I have been reading 1/2 a chapter a night.

(laughing so hard it sometimes wakes up Mr. B)

Why only half a chapter?! Because I don’t want it to end I want it to last – it’s funny and makes me smile – I can’t wait til bedtime so I can continue reading the saga of this amazingly intuitive yet hilariously creative man.

Last night I was reading the chapter when he outsources his life for a month to India. By outsourcing his life I mean, his entire life, from research for his book to replying to his email, he even outsourced his sons bedtime story time to overseas! He doesn’t stop at anything he takes it all to the extreme.

So this got me thinking – if I could outsource one thing what would it be, and why? So after much deliberation with myself

(to include a couple of pro/con lists)

I came up with my conclusion.

I would outsource grocery shopping and menu making. If someone would make a bi-weekly menu order the required ingredients online and have them delivered to my house I would cook more and my husband would definitely be happier (well his belly would be anyway). This would be great! I wouldn’t have to go to the annoying place full of irritating people who get in your way to purchase groceries just to come home and do more work. This way it is all purchased for me and the days for the food are listed as well as the instructions to cook the meals. What a beautiful thing!

Speaking of outsourcing….

has outsourced my computer. I haven’t sat down at it for the past few days, it feels abandoned, but I am love with my little mini RedBerry, do they offer BBAA classes? (BlackBerry Addicts Anonymous)

So what would you outsource if you could? Oh, and pick up a copy of this book it’s HILARIOUS! I’m going to have to read his other things as well….

Happy Wednesday Eve Everyone!

I just picked this book up from the library tonight, grabbed it on a whim. Glad to hear it doesn't suck :)

♥ Blessings are every where in our lives every day there are little things that mean a lot and sometimes we don't even notice them until we look back on the day. Memories and stories, arguments and tears - all bring blessings into our lives in one way or another. I do this blog so I can remember those moments and find the blessings that were once hidden in a normal sometime meaningless gesture ♥

if we pay close attention we will come to realize that no day is the same as another as every morning brings with it a hidden blessing - a sweet morsel to cherish
