Food Storage

So food storage and 72hr kits have been on my mind a lot lately, not just recently because of the economic "crisis" everyone keeps on insisting needs to get stuck in my head, but because for the past year or so I have been trying to figure out the best way to do it and go about it and I kept fretting the fact that I didn't have anything and I didn't know where to start, pretty much not doing anything and freaking out about it, making it a bigger deal than it really was. So one of my 'intranets' posted a list and it got me thinking what do I have that we don't use everyday that I'm calling my food storage? So let me preface this by saying instead of freaking out about what we don't have and never buying anything or doing anything about it I decided that everytime I went to the grocery store I would spend at least 25$ on food to put in my front closet. I recently looked through it today and this is what we have:

Do the best I know I can even though it may not be the best or the greatest.

Awesome list so far!

Found your blog when I was googling about food storage. My friend and I have a website that might help you out! Good luck with food storage - it's a challenge but it's so rewarding, as I'm sure you know.

♥ Blessings are every where in our lives every day there are little things that mean a lot and sometimes we don't even notice them until we look back on the day. Memories and stories, arguments and tears - all bring blessings into our lives in one way or another. I do this blog so I can remember those moments and find the blessings that were once hidden in a normal sometime meaningless gesture ♥

if we pay close attention we will come to realize that no day is the same as another as every morning brings with it a hidden blessing - a sweet morsel to cherish
